Portfolio Website v8 — Project Showcase Hub
Built as a comprehensive portfolio listing platform featuring a card-based project showcase architecture with six featured projects (macOS Web Clone, Portfolio v6, v5, v4, v2, v1) and three expertise sections. The implementation uses CSS Grid for responsive card layouts with automatic column adjustment, hover transforms with scale and shadow effects, and smooth transitions for interactive feedback. Built with the help of vibe coding for rapid prototyping. The project cards utilize flexbox for internal alignment, date badges with absolute positioning, and gradient overlays for visual hierarchy. The expertise sections implement a three-column grid layout with icon-based visual identifiers and descriptive content blocks. The architecture features semantic HTML5 structure, mobile-first responsive design with breakpoints, and optimized image loading for project thumbnails. Navigation system includes smooth scroll behavior, anchor links to project sections, and external link handling with proper security attributes. The styling employs CSS custom properties for theme consistency, box-shadow layering for depth perception, and border-radius for modern card aesthetics. This project was inspired by portfolio aggregator designs and project showcase layouts from the GitHub community.
